1. Follow law and obtain permission
You must comply with applicable laws, carrier and platform rules, industry requirements, and contractual obligations in every place affected by your use.
Send communications only with a valid basis and appropriate recipient expectation. Maintain evidence of consent where required and promptly honor opt-outs, revocation, suppression, and do-not-contact requests.
2. No spam or deceptive messaging
Do not send unsolicited bulk communication, purchased or unlawfully obtained lists, misleading offers, disguised marketing, or messages that omit required sender or opt-out information.
Do not manipulate sender identity, domain, routing, content, or traffic patterns to evade filtering, registration, rate limits, abuse controls, or recipient choices.
3. No fraud or unlawful activity
Do not use EMCO to facilitate fraud, phishing, impersonation, theft, scams, illegal sales, money laundering, unauthorized financial solicitation, or evasion of law enforcement.
You may not misrepresent your identity, affiliation, purpose, products, or the source and destination of a communication.
4. No harmful or exploitative content
Do not transmit threats, harassment, hate-based abuse, exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, child sexual abuse material, instructions intended to cause imminent harm, or content that unlawfully violates another person's privacy or rights.
Do not use communications to stalk, coerce, intimidate, discriminate against, or repeatedly contact a person who has asked you to stop.
5. Protect accounts, systems, and networks
Do not probe, scan, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, bypass, or gain unauthorized access to EMCO, connected providers, accounts, credentials, data, or networks.
Do not distribute malware, harvest credentials, exploit vulnerabilities, automate abusive account creation, or use credentials outside their authorized site, role, or purpose.
6. Respect content and intellectual property
You must have the rights necessary to use message content, templates, names, logos, media, data, and software submitted through the services.
Do not infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights, and do not use EMCO to distribute content removed or restricted for a valid legal reason.
7. Restricted and high-risk uses
Do not rely on EMCO as the sole method for emergency services, life-safety warnings, critical medical decisions, or other uses where delay or failure could cause death, serious injury, or severe damage unless EMCO has expressly agreed in writing to support that use.
Regulated, age-restricted, financial, healthcare, political, or similarly sensitive communications require appropriate review, permissions, safeguards, and destination-specific compliance before use.
8. Fair use and rate controls
Respect documented payload, volume, concurrency, and rate limits. Do not split traffic, rotate credentials, create accounts, or use automation to avoid controls.
Retry only with reasonable bounds and timing. You are responsible for preventing duplicate, runaway, or recursively triggered communications from your applications.
9. Monitoring and investigation
EMCO may use automated and manual measures to detect security threats, abuse patterns, delivery harm, or policy violations. We may request information needed to verify consent, sender identity, use case, or remediation.
We aim to limit review to what is reasonably necessary and handle information according to the Privacy Policy and applicable obligations.
10. Enforcement
EMCO may warn, filter, rate limit, block specific traffic, require remediation, suspend credentials or accounts, remove content, or terminate service based on severity, recurrence, and risk.
We may act without prior notice when necessary to protect people, networks, customers, EMCO, or legal compliance. Customers remain responsible for fees and obligations incurred before enforcement.
11. Reporting and changes
Report suspected abuse or policy violations to support@emcoteck.com. Include message details, timestamps, sender information, request references, and supporting evidence where available, but do not send unnecessary sensitive information.
EMCO may update this Policy as threats, services, and industry rules evolve. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
